One Story at a Time
This story board is a culmination of multiple stories combined into one. The video introduces the responses to the three simple questions asked below to each participant. As opposed to fixating on one story teller, this piece is vastly more impactful combining multiple responses that bring insight to more than one life's journey. It raises a strong connection to the fact that immigrating is rarely ever a single person's efforts, it takes a team or family to achieve. Individualized responses from the questions given will build the flowing story of the commercial. The stills included are examples of shots, locations, and entrepreneurs featured in the commercial. The vlog style is made to appear less extravagant but much deeper on a personal connection. It's meant to symbolize a POV of what someone who is making the immigration to the United States could realistically capture and portray through video themself.
Commercial Breakdown
The commercials main story will be told as such: each volunteer will be asked the same three questions, however you won't hear all replies. Instead, you will hear one cohesive story with answers from each participant that structure the rhythm of the commercial. Together all of their journeys, responses, and actions are combined into one story. The story of chasing opportunity in the United States.
